Typically we run our Toys for Tots drive until the second week of December, however this year we will be an official drop-off location until the end of the year, to contribute to our Hendrick Automotive Group's drive. Bring any unwrapped, new toy to help bring joy to children less fortunate this Christmas!

Charlotte Mecklenburg School Athletics
We are proud to be involved with Mecklenburg County High School and Middle School Athletic Programs. School sports offer teenagers the same outlet. Participating in high school sports is important for motor skill development, maintaining a healthy exercise program and provides for a release of anger when the academic stress become overwhelming. Most schools, if not all, require at least a C average to participate in these sports, which provides the child with accountability.
You can check out CMS Athletic Zone. The objective of this their site is to become THE place where parents, student-athletes, school communities, faculty & staff and the entire Charlotte community will “click” to gather information, news, announcements, scores, …all things athletic for district, school specific and team specific news. Annually, CMS athletic rosters total approximately 10,000 high school and 5,800 middle school participates. Athletic programs on CMS high school and middle school campuses strive to support the academic mission of CMS through athletic experiences that assist in the development of the total student. Participation in athletics provides the opportunity for students to learn social, personal and physical skills that benefit them though their life experiences.

Hendrick Marrow Program
Rick Hendrick, chairman and CEO of Hendrick Motorsports, established the Hendrick Marrow Program in 1997 after he was diagnosed with leukemia. Even though he did not need a marrow transplant himself, he wanted to help other patients waiting to find a marrow match and a second chance at life.
The Hendrick Marrow Program works with Be The Match Foundation to support the work of the National Marrow Donor Program. It raises money to add more potential marrow donors to the Be The Match Registry, increasing the chances that more patients find their match. It also helps patients pay for some uninsured transplant costs, which are often a barrier to treatment.
You can help by donating at anytime, or by participating in upcoming events. Be The Match Walk+Run in Charlotte, NC on September 28, 2013.
