Hendrick Honda Joins Thousands of Volunteers for Team Honda Week of Service, June 9 - 18

Dealership to provide meals for local first responders

CHARLOTTE, NC (June 14, 2017) – Employees from Hendrick Honda are joining more than 10,000 volunteers across North America participating in Honda’s second annual National Week of Service, in which Honda associates, dealers and suppliers will conduct volunteer service activities to make a positive impact in their communities.

Dealership employees will be feeding local police, firefighters and EMTs in appreciation for all that they do in the local community.

“Through this coordinated week of volunteer projects across North America, we are joining Honda in reinforcing the Team Honda spirit of working together to make a difference in the communities where we live and work,” notes Matthew Ricks, General Manager. “Hendrick Honda and its employees are happy to make a positive impact in the community we call home.”

The Week of Service is timed to coincide with the company’s Founder’s Day, which marks the establishment of the first Honda business operation in North America on June 11, 1959.
